Tair Kulteleev spoke at a webinar organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency

On 17 June 2025, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency held a webinar dedicated to the issues of "Establishing a Company and Doing Business in Kazakhstan – Practical and Legal Aspects" attended by Tair Kulteleev, AEQUITAS Partner and Head of Registrations, as an expert speaker.

Tair spoke about "Establishing Legal Entities in Kazakhstan and the AIFC, and Foreign Labor Engagement Procedure" and outlined the key differences between company registration within the general jurisdiction of Kazakhstan and the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC):

• Choice of organizational legal form • Specifics of foreign investor participation • Documentation and registration requirements • Rules for engaging foreign employees • Tax and visa preferences • Advantages of the AIFC — legal system based on English law, flexible staff regime, electronic document management, and record keeping in English.
