Ius Laboris: Working from home abroad
Ius Laboris alliance presented the new guide for employers whose employees are working from the other countries "Working from home abroad".
Many employees are currently working from home because of COVID-19 and sometimes it means working from abroad. But for an employer, this type of work can cause certain legal implications that need to be thought about before their employee can take a flight to their preferred destination and set up to work. These factors vary according to the country the person wants to work in and so it’s important to research this based on precisely where the employee wants to go.
This guide contains the legislation analysis of 26 countries regarding the remote work and work from abroad issues. Kazakhstan part was prepared by AEQUITAS Senior Associate Yekaterina Khamidullina.
